Hello all! I'm new to this forum. I have recently decided to add a Yorkie to my family. I need a new best friend. I don't know much about this breed. My niece has a 2 year old Yorkie that she would like to give me. "Roxie" is beautiful and tiny. I already love this little girl. She has not been spayed and has never used a leash. I don't intend on breeding "Roxie", but I would like to take her for walks on a leash. Would it be hard to train her to use a leash? When I bring her home, how do I get her used to her surroundings? She is a very, very friendly little girl, so maybe I won't have a problem there. Thanks for your replies.
