Shelby was spayed last month at 6 months, she weighed 3lbs.
She did fine (I didn't) and was back to herself after 36 hours. She is still growing but not gaining excess weight so far? Her appetite did pick up a bit for a couple of weeks.
I am glad it is over with! If/when you have it done have extra teeth removed at the same time.
I have heard (?) that having it done before first heat cuts down on risk of certain cancers b/c those hormones aren't released.
I am curious about females that go through heat. Do they change physically with each heat? |
