Thats what I was thinking. Developing a good relationship with your vet is a prime importance. My Aunt (a vet) went to school with my vet I have. They were in the same class. The only reason I visit my vet is that my aunt is 4 hours away. I have helped my aunt with numerous animal spayings/neutering and have administered all their shots due to her instruction ever since I was little. So now its a matter of developing a relationship with my vet Paige like the one I have obtained from my aunt.

But I would agree with you Mary. Don't administer anything without your vets recommendation. You have given very good advice here.
