Speaking of my own experience that sounds about right. Right in the ballpark of what I paid to have Kaji neutered. It really is a simple procedure. I was allowed to take him home later in the afternoon. He was so sleepy but he ate and went pee and poo fine. I did make him wear a onesie to keep him from licking down there. And he didn't want any pain meds. It was like pulling teeth to get him to eat them. He didn't seem bothered by it at all. By the next day he was ready to bounce off the walls, which of course I didn't let him.
