Hi All, I have a question. I wanted to get Maxi neutered this month (he will be 5 1/2 months old on Oct 21 and he is about 5 pounds). Do you think that is okay or should I wait until he weighs more?
Also, I called a couple of vets and they are saying that they give the gas plus the shot to keep them under and that they do pre-blood work tests plus they send him home with pills and meds....now we are more hollistic in our medical approach and this seems like alot of stuff for such a tiny dog. Is this the normal procedure? Im just not sure what to expect and Im really sacred to do this. Plus some places I called want to keep him overnight? Is that normal too? I think he will be really scared to do that.
