My little fella Toby turns 1 yr old Oct 27th and I wan't to have him neutered.Bottom line I'm worried.I know sometimes small dogs ( he's 5 lbs.) don't wake up from anastesia.My vet has 35 years of experience and actually does all the spay and nueters for the local county animal shelter and says he has never lost a dog during the procedure.I know it's the right thing to do,I'm just scared of losing him and don't know what to do.He's also got a wonderful personality and I'm worried that could change ,although that seems unlikley.Any advice?
