We've just recently got a second pup (Honey, a Golden Doodle) when Lucy (Yorkie) was 14 months old. There have been both pros and cons.

Honey is still being housetrained, which has caused Lucy to regress a little bit with her housetraining. She was perfect, and had been for months - but now seems to feel that if Honey can pee on the wood floors, so can she. (Honey's improving, though, so Lucy will soon follow).

On the other hand, Honey has very quickly picked up other training from Lucy - walking at heel, sitting, lying down, etc - all within 2 weeks! And they play together constantly - which means we have to spend less time entertaining them individually. Lucy can also walk miles - so Honey's need for longer walks hasn't been a problem at all.

Oh - and both are girls, and get along really well, except for the occasional tussle for "me first" during cuddles time.
