I wouldn't worry too much...like the previous poster said, just keep an eye on your pup. Stella is about the same age/size and I catch her eating lint balls that roll from under the couch or the dryer..or whatever (who knows where!) all the time, so I'm sure for every one I catch her eating she gets to swallow a couple (she LOVES to chase and eat fuzzballs!), and we've never had a problem. Just be vigilant
