Do you take the parents of your pups in for check ups to your vet? I would assume during the pregnancy you would have your female in for check ups no? I think this could have been avoided had the pups also been checked out by your vet. I mean if you're going to breed and sell pups I would think that the pups would at least be entitled to a basic check up by your vet prior to selling. Just my opinion. And yes, tail docking, dew claws etc is painful and I'm not a big fan of that however, I hardly think you can compare it to tattooing since their are other alternatives to that technique which are more humane.
