If I were you I would take the male and have him neutered ASAP! If she is in heat it is only a matter of time before he gets nutty and you will not be able to keep them apart~~~~guaranteed
The neuter for a male is very minimal and he will recover very quickly. If you are in the middle of a move the last thing you need to be doing is keeping tabs on your pups trying to keep them separated~that is when a real accident
will happen. Ii I were you I would call in the morning and see if you can make an appointment to take him in early next week.
