Question - it's obviously just coming w/ the kit lens (18-55 mm lens) which will be good enough for me to start with, I'm hoping. I know it doesn't zoom much and I really do love using Zoom. Really, the best way to get what you want is to bring your camera body into a camera store, and try on some lenses - see what it is that your "eye" is really wanting to do w/ the lens. That doesn't mean you have to buy it there, though
. There are many ranges of zoom, so it really depends on what you want to do, and then there's macro, but I don't think that's what you might really be looking for....
