Wishing you every success in this awesome decision! I know first hand how difficult it will be -- but so very worth it! I quit over 9 years ago. I cut drinking straws to the right length and stuck them in my mouth when I needed a fix, especially while driving. Sometimes it helped just to have them to fiddle with in my hand. I also used patches, went to a hypnotist, tried accupunture, and read all the websites I could find. I would try a little of everything. Finally got through it. Every once in a while I still get an urge. But knowing how hard it was to kick it always helps me ignore the urge.

You might even want to join one of the online Quit Smoking forums. Helps to keep affirming the decision to quit and have someone to talk with when it gets tough. Best of luck to you!
