max was able to hold it all night by the time he was about 3 months old. now he is 10 months old and can hold it all day while we are at work, which is about 10 hours. we used to keep him in his kennel during the day and now we keep him in the kitchen since we are sure he can hold it. i think all dogs are going to be different and its how their bladder is trained.
