my dog is 9lbs; and last time i took her to the vet for a bug bite; the vet told me to give 25mg (1 tablet) twice a day; or in liquid 5cc or ml(1 teaspoon) twice a day; however since this was the first time; i used 2.5cc and she went right to sleep
so i think it's safe to use 1/2 the dosage.
