Newbies and oldies alike who find themselves in a crisis situation and ask for help -- they NEED help -- not snide remarks. Whether or not they choose to follow our advice is their perogative, but most people are not willing to listen to criticism when they are reaching out for help. Some people are just ignorant (uneducted) and others are just plain stupid. We can help to educate the ignorant members by gently educating them. BUT why is it necessary to bring YT down to the level of just plain stupid by arguing?
I am always amazed at the patience and fairness of Admin and the Moderators. It is up to each and every member to help combat the rude and abrasive members by ignoring and refusing to engage in arguments and by reporting members and posts using the report button and through pms. Each time we reply to "one of those threads" instead of reporting them we become part of the problem. |
My goodness Cindy, you said that perfectly
I totally agree.
