Default Vetinsurance vs. Petsecure

My name is Randy and I am the President of Petsecure. First off, insuring your pet with any pet insurance company in Canada is better than no insurance at all. Simply putting money into a savings account rarely works for a number of reasons. First off is that you never know what the timing of an illness or accident might be, hopefully never, but it is also possible something could happen within the first month of you opening up your special savings account. I also agree with the tbmbow and also believe that most people don't have the discipline to leave the money in the account and not use it for something else that may arise, i.e. house or car repairs.
As for which pet insurance product you should get - Vetinsurance or Petsecure; both companies are good, Petsecure has been around for 20 years and Vetinsurance for 10 years, so you should feel confident that both companies are well established.
Some of the information the tbmbow posted is misleading, while he is right that our Secure 2 plan offers $2,500 per condition, what he didn't state is that it is $2,500 per condition per year. We cover over 150 different conditions and the $2,500 renews every year, so you have far more than $20,000 available to you.
You can also check out our website at www.petsecure.com, but you won't find any comparisons of our product against our competitors because we don't believe in that type of advertising as it is impossible to do an apples to apples comparison due to the difference in our products compared to theirs. I can tell you that we are the oldest and largest pet insurance company in Canada and we offer great customer service. If you are interested in learning more about Petsecure or wish to receive a quote please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@petsecure.com or me personally at rvalpy@petseure.com.
