I use the clippers on Gracie's legs and go from the top of the leg to the bottom in the direction the hair grows. You always want to clip in the direction the hair grows. You can do a rough cut before the bath (be sure you brush them first) and then follow-up after their bath with your final cut. Then if need, I touch up with curved shears and also use the shears on her feet. I finally broke down and bought a pair of curved shears and I find with Gracie's coat they make it look less choppy. |
