That's why kibble feeders do a food switch very slowly, but most raw feeders seem to do the switch quite suddenly, and some dogs experience more distress than others. | I think Nancy is exactly right...I've seen mucus in a pup's stool, when switching kibble (not apple, but a dachshund)...And, when I switched Apple to raw is was suddenly and successfully...Sorry to get on the raw band-wagon, but wow, it sure seems to be the way to go, if you don't minding spending about a dollar a day to feed...Thank goodness I only have one!!! |
