My 4.5 yr old Yorkie has started sticking her tongue out..not to be confused with panting or licking. The tongue comes pretty much straight out and in. Could it be an anxiety issue?? Her face look stressed while she does this for long periods of time. It is very hard to distract her from it, if not impossible.
We added a kitten to the home in April (she had lived the first 3 yrs of her life with a cat), moved in June. Tongue problem stared about 6 weeks ago. Vet has no experience with this.
Has anyone seen this before? how do I fix it?
