Poor thing - keep an eye on your baby. My Lexi got one a couple of weeks ago and I immediately looked it up on the web. The silica gel is NOT poisonous. The danger is from choking on the little bags. Indeed, Lexi showed no signs of illness at all. I took your post to read that your baby also chewed the bag up and it didn't read as if she had swallowed it whole...what a relief. I double checked with vet and the silica gel is not, I repeat, not poisonous. I'd rather have damp shoes that those little bags around anyway. Hope your baby is ok!!!!! Best wishes.
