That has GOT to be devastating to all who loved your sweet Daisy.
What you 'paid' for her isn't even close to what she was worth.
Example: I had what I called the mulit-million dollar Yorkie.
I definitely wouldn't have taken a million bucks for her. NO WAY.
I didn't PAY that for her but she was irrevocably in my heart and she was irreplaceable.
Matter of fact: I wouldn't have taken TWO million dollars for my baby. Not three.
I always joked that if I was offered 4 million for her I'd have to confer with her to see if she WANTED to go. I knew the answer to that question without asking. SHe loved ME as much as I loved her.
Four million couldn't have taken her away from me. Not any amount of money could replace the look in her eyes when she would gaze into my eyes with that special look that only a Yorkie can make.
I've been in major depression since I lost her last October..Life just isn't the same for me without my angel Savannah.
I've had other pets but nothing that made it's way into my heart like my Yorkie, Savannah did.
These aren't mere animals we are talking about here. The relationship between a Yorkie and their person is like no other.
I'd say pain and suffering from your loss FAR outstrips the 'fair' market value for a pet like this.
YOUR attorney needs to understand this and relate it to the judge.
These people viloated more than a sacred trust to take care of your pet.
Thru their negligence you have lost much more than money can ever replace.
Sure, you can buy another Yorkie but it's not like just buying a car. I like my Corvettes but I don't love them like I do my Yorkie.
Take pictures to court with you to show how much you loved your little Baby Daisy. |
