Welcome to YT. Hope you can find your yorkie. It depends on what you want and how much yorkies cost in your area. Everywhere a female costs more than a male. Champion bloodlines or unique colors go for generally higher prices. Ask the fellow Texans on here what breeders they know of. I would think you would be able to find a healthy pet quality yorkie for below $1000. I would personally steer away from anyone who uses the word "teacup" and I wouldn't recommend shipping.
