 I know your pain
I lost my sweet Gertie on September 13th and am very grateful that I didn't have to make the decision you did. She died in my arms after suffering seizures for hours. I also want to find a new baby to help fill the hole she left. Part of me felt that I was being disloyal in wanting another "baby" so soon, but others on this forum have assured me that my heart would let me know when the time was right. I hope you find a lovely puppy to bring joy to your lives again soon. It is clear that you love your pups dearly and have given a great deal to Buddy. I believe that they know how much we love them and the depth of our loyalty to them. I look forward to hearing of your new puppy and the healing that begins.
