Our little toy poodle, Prissy, who is 7 yrs old now, has been having seizures for 4 years now. We had her on medicine for awhile, however her quality of life was horrible. She just lay around the house, she didn't enjoy anything, so we took her off the medicine. I do not work anymore, so I can watch her closely and when she has one I am able to stay right with her. She doesn't have them as often as she used to. Our vet told us that this breed is prone to seizures. Jasmine, our 9 month old, yorkie has not experienced any seizure activity, thank the Lord.
