Vet had him on prednisone for a couple of weeks along with all of the other meds he was constantly taking. She said that there was no hope, suspected neuro damage but to find out, was an MRI that cost a great deal of money..when your baby is paralyzed what good does spending another $3000 dollars do? Sometimes, I think vets are a racket these days. Anyway we are looking for another little one to light our lives up as we are both devastated. Any recommendations for breeders in AZ? No puppy mills or backyarders please...want a dog from a breeder who cares about the breed instead of money.
I'm so sorry. The pain is horrible; just brutal. You did the best thing. Know that and find comfort in knowing you loved your baby all you could. He was a gift & you honored him. He's pain free. This is a beautiful thought! <hugs>I share your tears and heartache.
If I were you---I would call Helen at Vista Yorkies. She is awesome! I only give referrals if they are breed fanciers. Helen is respected. I can't say who can have her yorkies. But it's worth trying! They're lovely and bred to the standard. Here's a link Vista Yorkshire Terriers
If she isn't helpful, ask HER who to go to. She will guide you locally to a quality breeder. Helen is great about spending time talking to you on the phone "just to help" people that want a yorkie for the right reason. I think you will find a friend in her...Let me know what you find.

Again, I'm sorry for your loss.
