I fly with them all the time but I haven't taken any furballs with me yet. I was on one flight where the couple across the isle from me had a puppy. They had it out of the crate during the whole flight. When the captain announced that we'd be landing soon the flight attendant very nicely told them that they would have to put him back in his crate for landing. I think they are OK with it as long as the dog isn't too noisy or restless.
