 New Member in OH
I recently joined YT. My name is Terri and we are in northeast OH, snow belt, ugh. We have been blessed to own 2 yorkies over the years. We had Tuppens for 17 years and Kramer for 14 yrs. Kramer recently passed away, and we miss him terribly. My arms are aching for a dog to love and cuddle. After reading all the posts here, I am very nervous about getting a pet who is unhealthy, etc. I guess we got lucky in the past, had no idea about checking for reliable breeders, etc. Just wanted a sweet yorkie pet and that's what we got. In the 14 years since our last Yorkie purchase, it seems prices are giving us sticker shock! Any advice for a sweetie pie in or near OH? We had tiny yorkies before, and lucked out that they had excellent health. We reallly want a very tiny one again, just a very quiet and affectionate pet. We are both home all day and it's getting lonely in our petless home. I'm glad to be part of this forum, and hope to get to know everyone better. Terri |
