I'm not sure if you have had your flight already but I flew Air Tran with Sasha last December. It was our first time flying together and she was only 8 months old. She did well. I had read that sometimes flight attendants will be be nice and let you take your pet out of the carrier but they told me she had to stay inside. It was only a 2 hour flight and she slept through most of it. I would fly with them again as they have the cheapest fare for pets but they no longer service Orlando.
