I'm afraid in this instance I'm assuming the worst as well. The pups were dying and she still had 4 hours before the vet appt. I know from experience how fast these little ones can go down when they get dehydrated, four hours is just too long. If it was good news I would guess we would have gotten the all clear by the next day. Such a sad situation but hopefully a lesson learned. Breeding is expensive, hard work, and emotionally draining. You really have to know what you're getting into before you start. Maybe this will help someone to learn. It's all very sad!
