What is the cause of the deafness? Just doesn't make sense that the breeder would consider redoing if the vet said it wasnt genetic.

Personally, I wouldn't breed her because of the topline issue and the dog being deaf. I'd hate to find out the hard way that the hearing issue is genetic. Possibly you could do some genetic testing before hand, but I dont know how she'd do with pups if she cant hear them...
