Well it's up to you on what you want for your furbaby, but I think if you take them out in the grass they have a chance to get fleas...I think its better to be safe than sorry and have to deal with the whole flea mess! Advantix is a really good product I have used it on peanut when he was a pup and I never had any problems or concerns. He goes everywhere with me, always in the grass, dirt, groomers, day care. I have never seen a flea. The good thing with advantix is it kills and repels against the fleas. It also protects against Mosquitos and Ticks!
