 White shampoo for puppies
I use a regular puppy shampoo on my Morkie Belle's face as it doesn't hurt her eyes. Then because Belle is black and white I use the white shampoo for the rest of her. It doesn't seem to make a difference on the black. I learned a little trick for Belle's legs which are mainly white. When I got her and the first week at home I noticed her back feet looked an apricot color. I can see it in her early pictures. It was from using her pee pad and I put a newspaper on top of the pad as it really saves changing the pad so often. But anyway, what was happening was the discoloring was due to her peeing where it would get in her back feet. The white shampoo helped but not totally. Now I use Woolite and mix it with a little water and soak it on her feet for a few minutes and they come out really white. It does not hurt her at all and really helps keep the stains away. |
