I wonder if Callie could have tonsillitis or a sore throat. Maddie has had that a couple of times and she coughs, trying to clear her throat, and of course, swallowing seemed very hard for her at that time. I'd have the vet look in her throat. I hope you can figure out what is wrong and we send get well wishes to Callie!
