I do not know if the low blood sugar was the reason, she has been sicker than this and it never happened.
The ER vet said, it was not a full seizure. Her legs go out, head moves, but no foaming, eyes rolling, etc., she gets up and is fine.
I am feeding her boiled chicken today, that is what the vet advised for a few days until I see my regular vet.
if you are going to feed any protein feed egg white, lowfat cottage cheese, or steamed cod as hypoglycemia goes hand in hand with liver shunt. You need to have the bile acids done as dogs can have normal blood work and have high bile acids so have that done immediately
