Yorkiedaze and Redvalaria have a point, your baby is so young you don't know what kind of coat she will have, and the baby fluff won't last forever.
If your baby is just a pet, then it won't really matter what kind of coat she has! I've seen silky ones that are just gorgeous with their long flowy hair. But lucky for me that's not the case. I have a "flawed" yorkie who has a cottony coat. It is slightly curly on his body but it is oh so very soft. I love to brush him every night and just bury my face in his coat! He feels and looks like a brand new teddy bear!

Sorry, I'm just a proud new mom that gave her boy an at home haircut, with the help of my lovely roommate of course. I just couldn't resist posting pics!
