Brucellosis is rare, BUT if the dog had it then they will pass to the other dogs and usually they req males to be put down if they were to have it. We req. a current brucellosis test on ANY female that breeds to our male. EVEN if they have never been bred before...just an infected dog licking a females privates can cause them to have it. Why the worry? The test is cheap and quick!!
