Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew how UKC derives its points, ie. how a dog progresses to Champion. And, if I am not mistaken, they have something called Grand Champ,etc? Or the link on their website. I was unable to find it. Also. as far as AKC, I thought I understood that if a dog or bitch takes best of winners, they get the crossover points, ie which ever had higher point value(bitch or dog), but is that the case if they take the breed too, or if they take breed are they automatically awarded best of winners? It would seem to make sense that way. And if they are BOB and BOW, are there additional points above what they would accumulate if they were just BOW? I thought there are no points to be gained in Breed competition. Thanks!
