Thanks everyone. I hadn't even thought of dogs that go to new homes getting new names. When we got our Sam his name was Prancer. The first time I saw him he was wearing a way to small raindeer outfit. He had been wearing it since they got him as a puppy! He was owned by a mentally retarded child, whos parents expected her to care for him.
I will never have that human girl though. My 2 boys are it for me!! Fiona is my little girl!
