We just added a new little one to our family! We are picking her up on Wednesday!!! But were nervous! Bailey is so used to being our one and only and the center of attention, I know that she is going to be very unhappy with the new addition for a while.
I have read somewhere that the best thing to do is ignore the new dog and shower the old one with extra love and attention to let them know that nothing will change and they are still your baby, but The new one we are getting is A tiny and only weighs in at about 1 lb at 10 weeks. We are going to need to take this tiny girl with us everywhere we go, and I was planning on taking her to work so that I can watch her at all times like I did with Bailey when she was little. But Bailey is going to freak out when she sees mommy and daddy leaving for work with the new baby while she has to stay at home! Taking Bailey to work also is not really an option (I work for my dad and he will not let me bring both babies to work at the same time) We were so excited at first but now we are getting more and more nervous worrying about how to do this without making Bailey feel replaced.
