lt does sound suspicious, if she was being honest about the pup why says its rare....then apolize when you asked or corrected her about it. She doesn't want to admit being the actual owner to your baby, sounds suspect to me. People unfortunately attempt to take advantage of the unsuspecting who are not aware.
