Nope! Harleys been on the exact same brand of food for months with no weight gain at all. But he does love it and since I switched him from Royal Canin puppy stage he has stopped itching too.(it had corn in it) He eats around 1 cup a day.. Sometimes more or less depending upon his mood and how many treats his grandmas gave him! (my mom and bf's mom!) lol
