This just happened 2 howers ago, and of course on a weekend! I noticed Gizmo's eye wasn't opening all the way.

I think what may have happened is that I was out of paper plates and gave him a teaspoon of ice cream on a disposable plastic plate, and before I knew it, he had finished the ice cream and was wrestling with the plate. Now I think he may have scratched his eye.

Upon inspecting I see no damage, but it's hard to tell, since he won't sit still.

My question is, can or should I use adult Visine or drops for pink eye until Monday when I can get him to the vet? I'm not sure what to do for him.

He doesn't seem to be in pain, he's just squinting and favoring that eye.
Any suggestions?
