I started my two yorkies on raw two weeks ago. They were doing so well on the raw medallions after I made the switch from kibble.

Well, just this week, one refused to eat it and the other started having diarrhea and threw up.

I couldn't understand why. When I first introduced them to raw, you should have seen them. They went crazy for the stuff. They inhaled their food within seconds and looked up at me begging for more.

When I took my sick yorkie to my vet, she asked if there had been any changes to his diet. I told her I started giving him raw. She gave me this shocked look on her face and flat out told me that she isn't a fan of raw feeding. I told her that I heard a lot of great stuff about feeding raw and her response to me was, "I have never heard of any vet recommend feeding raw food."

My yorkie is still getting over his diarrhea. The past few days hes been looking rather tired and sad. His little tummy must be hurting. I've been resting him. Since this whole ordeal, I decided not to feed my yorkies raw anymore.

I know it works well for some dogs, but it clearly doesn't for mine.
