The same amount is given to dogs of all sizes.
It takes a certain amount to acquire an immune response, so size doesn't really matter. It is very potent though and I don't like it either. Here in the US it is mandatory, but I thought it was optional in BC, so you wouldn't have to give it if you don't want to.
