I think it has to depend on diet and genes. Some may grow longer then others. I know if they are poorly bred their hair may never get super long. My moms yorkie hasn't had a cut since 4 months, it is pretty long but it's not super silky coat so it's not the best quality of coat IMO. She is about 14 months now. I am hoping Lola gets at least a nice top knot!
