I have given Phoebe chicken often and I also switch it up with a piece or two the Natural Balance roll. In the turkey flavor and she loves it. I only feed her a natural diet, no milk bones or any thing like that so I would say this would be fine to give your baby. It comes in a few varieties and like I said she just LOVES it
