fatty acids do not combat yeast all fatty acids do is a natural anti-inflammatory of the skin and also helps add oils for dry skin so it will not combat yeast. Combatting yeast is eating a grain free diet and a diet free of white potato. Yeast and bacteria grow in sugary foods so if your dog has a yeast issue eliminating this in their diet is good. So a dog with yeast issues i would feed natural balance venison and sweet potato as sweet potato does not have the same glycemic index as white potato and why diabetics can eat sweet potato but should not eat white potato.
