I think I read that if they haven't started marking before they are neutered, they probably won't mark after neutering..I think if they are left intact they will eventually start marking. My Bailey is getting neutered in a couple of weeks, he will be 6 months old on Sunday, he hasn't started marking yet, and I'm hoping he never will start! This is my first male dogs too.
