Once they taste the chicken it's understandable why they don't want

I would not use rice daily, may cause constapation, instead
add green beans, peas and or carrots. I cook 1 family package of
chicken breasts, boiling them, every two weeks and keep them in
the freezer. They thaw out over night so there is always fresh
chicken to add to his kibble. I also add the veggies in his evening
meal along with the chicken and kibble.
If I were you, I would omitt the can food and add chicken, veggies
to his kibble. This way he is getting the vitamins and supplements
from his kibble and added protein from the chicken.
Great Idea! and I will omit the rice because he is constipated and Im too blame... I thought about to much starch causing that problem so I did just cut up his chicken but I didn't think about adding veggies? so Im some what confused is it ok with the protein issues that has been discussed here? I do know protein is another constipating factor? or is that pertain to humans?
