Not sure how far away you are from the U of Tenn - but Dr. Tobias is the BEST liver shunt surgeon, so if you are able to, that's where I'd go! NO MORE MEAT - these are posion to his body and you are doing more damage feeding this to him.
The Vet should have given you RC kibble or Hills L/D wet. Some people bake little balls of the L/D and that may be enough to entice him to eat it. You can also lightly coat some of the RC kibble with a little goat cheese (not too much though) and that may work.
Apple bits (no skin), watermelon, romaine lettuce, sweet potatos in moderation though (mine like them sliced and baked like fries, but no oil) are all ok to feed as snacks. |
